In a book ‘Bowater-A history’ by WJ Reader was published. It recounts the history of papermaking company Bowaters and the founding family behind it. It is an excellent read telling the story of the newspaper industry from its early years in late Victorian times through to Bowater Inc., North America's second-largest newsprint company, has closed its pulp mill in Gold River, British Columbia, citing high costs and low pulp prices.
